Digital Imaging

Technological overculture is constantly redefining contemporary power structures. The aesthetics of the internet are integral to our global finance structure. Information is a primary commodity, and the ability to affectively and efficiently navigate to the information of relevance is becoming increasingly significant. Being 'technolically-savvy' and able to construct digital fabrications is a valuable skill.

Animation & Video

Animation & Video are the manipulation of electronic pictures by means of a computer in order to create moving images. "Jamaica Stomp" and " The Wave of The Future" are both products of the Building Virtual Worlds class at the Pittsburgh Entertainment Technology Center.

Interactive Graphics

Recently introduced to the use of interactive graphics as an expressive visual tool, the objective of my work is art and design, but the medium is software. Programming in computer languages the basic aim of these constructs is to govern static, dynamic, and interactive form. 'Topics include the computational manipulation of: point, line and shape; texture, value and color; time, change and motion; reactivity, connectivity and feedback. Basic software algorithms, computational geometry, digital signal filtering, kinematic simulation, and the application of these techniques to aesthetic issues in interaction design, information visualization, and reactive art.

Painting

All paintings are arrangements of pigment suspended in a medium and a binding agent on to a surface such as canvas, paper or a wall. Given its extensive and longstanding history, painting is exhilarating because there are so many aesthetic considerations that occur when I manifest the expressive and conceptual intentions behind the work I create.

Drawing

Drawing is essential. It is central to the existance of fine art because it is both an elevated medium and a precursor to so many others. I have found that the devotion of time and attention to the study of drawing has lead to many great things. The most important of which, is an enhancement to one's ability to perceive natural surroundings.

Printmaking

Opposed to the process of creating a single original piece of artwork, printmaking is a process for producing editions {multiple copies} of artwork. Knowledgeable in Intalgio, Lithography, & serigraphy techniques, my prints are conceptually focused by a private and an independant reasoning of venerable and imaginative realitys.
